｜Typical Configuration


| Flat dome lighting is ideal for observing the inner wall of a hole using a slanted or side-viewing borescope.
Using our φ4mm 90° type borescope, we observed the threaded part of the inner wall of a metal pole with an inner diameter of φ18mm.
We compared the difference in visibility between conventional LED lighting for borescopes and the above flat dome lighting designed specifically for borescopes.


When using conventional LED lighting for borescopes with a slanted or side-viewing borescope to observe an uneven or shiny object, halation may occur or the light may become unbalanced.
By using the above flat dome lighting designed specifically for borescopes,
indirect light is irradiated evenly over the entire object,
making it easier to observe, as shown in the comparison photo.
Since the lighting is from outside the hole, the effect will vary depending on the depth and diameter of the hole.
